 2 FIRST CLASS QUADRUPLE 100S
In 1994 Brain Lara scored his first first class 400 against Durham while playing for Warwickshire. He scored 501 runs in just 427 balls with the help of 62 fours & 10 sixes.
10 years later he scored his second first class 400 against England & became second player after WH Ponsford to score two first class 400s.
His 400 vs England also helped him to become only player to reclaim highest test score.
 Wisden Best Innings
Lara’s 153 runs match winning innings against Australia in the 4th innings at Bridgetown in 1999 was rated second best test innings of all time by wisden. Whereas Don Bradman’s 270 against England at the MCG in 1937 is in the number 1 in this elite list.

 T20 Career & Return Of Lara
After 3 years of his retirement from international cricket Lara made a come back. He went to Zimbabwe to make his debut in T20 cricket & joined Southern Rocks to play in the 2010-11 Stanbic Bank 20 series. He scored 65 off 47 deliveries in his debut T20 match on November 13 in 2010. He played just 3 T20 matches (all for Southern Rocks). On 17th November in the said year Lara played his last T20 match.
